Prayers of Lament: Lamenting with Hope
Approaching God with honest emotions, lamenting over our own struggles, our nation’s brokenness, and the world’s suffering. We trust God deeply, knowing He is sovereign and good, even in adversity. Our prayers fuel our courage to step out in faith, believing that God will bring abundant fruitfulness, transforming our hearts and communities. Through lament, we grow stronger together, loving and supporting one another, refusing to let love grow cold.
Renewed Primacy of God’s Word: Living Stones, Rooted in Truth
We will stand on the unshakable foundation of Jesus as our perfect Rock and the Bible as our final authority. We commit to following Scripture faithfully, even when it’s counter-cultural, knowing that this is how we build a glorious church. God’s Word is the compass that directs our lives and shapes our identity in Christ. Through His Word, we understand our calling as living stones to imitate Jesus and represent Him in our broken world.
Believing Jesus to Overcome and Advance His Kingdom Locally: Faith in Action
We step out in courage to overcome fear and complacency, empowered by the faith that Jesus will overcome every obstacle and advance His Kingdom in our local communities. By identifying our spiritual gifts and supporting one another in love and care, we train and prepare ourselves to serve. With a renewed urgency, we passionately reach out to our neighbours, knowing that our prayers and faith will bring God’s transformation.
Believing Jesus to Overcome and Advance His Kingdom to the Ends of the Earth: A Global Mission
Our vision extends beyond our local community, believing that God will use us to make a global impact. We are called to release people and resources generously to strengthen Churches locally, nationally, and internationally. We commit to church planting and spreading the Gospel worldwide, understanding that Jesus’ Kingdom is not limited by borders or boundaries. Through prayer and faith, we expect the unexpected, seeking every opportunity to be a resource for Kingdom advance and the building of His Church.
What part can you play in this vision?
Everyone in the Church family has a big part to play, whether it is joining a small group, welcoming someone you don’t know or sharing a prophetic word. Please also pray and continue to pray, so that these things will happen and the glory of God will be seen in a way that cannot be denied or explained away.
