Church isn’t meant to be just a Sunday morning. The New Testament paints a picture of Christians doing life together. At The Bridge Church, we are looking to go deeper than the superficial. We are looking for life-giving and life-changing friendships through which God can shape us and shape the world around us. We do this through our small groups, called cells.
Our cells form the backbone of our church, they are a group of people from the church and their friends who spend time with each other. Each week, cells get together to:
- Deepen our friendships with one another and to encourage one another
- Worship God together
- Talk about how we apply the previous Sunday’s sermon and to pray for one another
- Plan time together with one another; Enjoying meals and organising activities with one another and one another’s friends
Each of our cells looks to develop a leader and a trainee leader, so that as it grows, it can multiply just like a biological cell. The reason for this structure is so that we can grow sustainably and smoothly.
Our cell groups are formed and grow out of friendship rather than geographical location and we see them as an essential part of The Bridge Church family life.
